Maximum Lifting Height

On a double girder crane the trolley travels on rails fixed to the top flange of the twin box girders, rather than hanging beneath a single beam. This elevates the entire hoist mechanism and places the hook higher — delivering the maximum achievable lifting height within any given building. For facilities where roof clearance is the critical constraint, nothing outperforms a double girder design. Lifting heights to 32 metres are achievable.

Twin Girder — Double the Capacity

Two full-depth box girders, individually designed to FEM, DIN, VDI, and CMMA norms, carry the trolley load in bending and torsion. This structural redundancy enables capacities from 3 tonnes all the way to 250 tonnes — far beyond the limits of a single girder. Four or eight long-travel wheels distribute the crane load across the runway to match whatever wheel-load limits the building structure allows.

Modular & Fast to Commission

Modular construction saves installation time — components arrive pre-assembled and pre-wired, allowing the crane to be commissioned with minimum downtime. The improved electrical panel is manufactured to international standards with full labelling and simple layout. Speed controllers allow smooth take-off and stop on all axes; braking times, travel speeds, and acceleration can all be fine-tuned on site.

The Cesan Double Girder Overhead Crane is the company's flagship heavy-lifting product — engineered for facilities where capacity, hook height, or continuous duty cycle exceed what a single girder can deliver. Twin box girders, individually designed to FEM / DIN / VDI / CMMA norms, carry the crane trolley on top rails for the highest available hook position within the building structure.

Double girder overhead crane systems are available up to 80 tonnes equipped with ZX electric wire rope hoists, and up to 250 tonnes using the heavier duty VX open hoist. Top-running double girders are designed to run on either four or eight long travel wheels depending on the allowable wheel loads, and multiple trolley gauges are available to accommodate different lifting heights and span configurations.

Multiple trolleys can operate on the same bridge — independently or in synchronised tandem — providing maximum flexibility for complex lift operations. An operator cabin, fixed or travelling along the girder, can be added at any time. For hazardous areas, full Ex-Proof certification is available. Container loading apparatus, type-C hooks, grab buckets, electromagnets, and projector lamps are all standard accessory options.
